He’s into trance music.
I’m mad about chocolate!
I’m crazy about volleyball. I’m a book maniac.
I dig rap music. He’s a history buff!
She’s a studying machine. She’s a music freak.
I’m a “Iris” junkie. (Junkie
(they mix like oil and water 기억나시죠?)
Rodd:It’s so nice to meet you. So, tell me all about yourself.
Betty:Sure, my name is Betty. I’m 21 years old and I live in Jukjeon. I’m an exercise buff. I’m really into yoga and soccer. Oh, and I love music.
Rodd:Really? So do I! (thinking-Yahoo! We’ll get along great!) I’m crazy about opera.
Betty:Oh. (thinking-yep, you’re crazy all right!) Actually I’m into heavy metal and rap. I’m an Eminem junkie. totally dig him.
Rodd:Eewww. How about classical music? I’m a Mozart maniac and mad about Beethoven.
Betty:(thinking?yep, you’re totally mad, and definitely a maniac!) Nope, I’m so not into classical music-too boring for me. I’m more of a danger girl.
How about scary music? I’m a Marilyn Manson freak.
Rodd:(thinking-Well, I guess you’re a freak all right.) Wow! Look at the time. Well, nice meeting you, but gotta go.
Betty:(Woo hoo-thank goodness!) Bye bye!
* Mad and Maniac by themselves both mean “crazy”.
* Freak by itself also means “a crazy or weird person”.
